When the city settles in for the evening, the wok at Ping Yang Thai Grill and Dessert is just getting hot. From our kitchen at 955 Larkin Street, we cook Laotian-rooted plates alongside the Thai comfort classics San Francisco loves: wok-charred KUAW, generous Pad Thai, mild and rich Mussaman Curry, and a sweet finish from our dessert menu. Everything is made to order, packed with care, and sent out hot from 5 PM until midnight, every single night.
The stir fried egg plant with tofu & veggies at medium spiciness level was excellent. I ordered it with the egg fried rice, which was also great and super savoury. The food arrived quickly and was nice and hot on arrival. It was a good value for what I ordered.
They packaged my Thai Ice Tea with such care again: plastic wrapped (to keep the lid tight), in a paperbag (to absorb any minor leaks), and in a to-go box (to protect from crushing). Today's packager went overboard in the most considerate way reasonable. Wow. And of course, the Pad Thai came perfect to specifications (asked non-spicy and for a fork, got non-spict and a fork). Extremely consistent quality. Still my favorite Thai place in San Fran.
My first time ordering Pad Thai love the sweetness and the tofu was perfect and its delicious also generous amount & Thai crepe (Tokyo) was amazing not too sweet. It's the best combo for me. Thank you for the delicious meal!
